Have you listened to Lemonade yet? I haven’t... the cult of personality made it out to be the second coming, of course, but in recent years her whole thing has been less about talent than image. She’s never been my thing, anyway.
Totally right about Jay; but even if he made a comeback now... what would it be about? He’s had a good life. Hard to rap about that, unless he goes the way of Talib Kweli and Mos Def and takes a more world-conscious turn. That would be an interesting take.
